Former Manchester United and Wales footballer Ryan Giggs has settled a fight over money with his estranged wife Stacey, lawyers said.
Judges oversaw private hearings in the family division of the High Court in London.
Lawyers said a “confidential” agreement was reached, concluding their divorce.
The couple married in September 2007 and have two children. In August, Stacey Giggs, 39, was granted a divorce.
A statement from the pair’s lawyers said: “Ryan and Stacey Giggs are pleased to say that… they have managed to reach a financial settlement in their divorce.
“This concludes the divorce proceedings and they will not be making any further comment.”
It added: “The terms of the settlement are confidential, but both wished to express their sincere thanks to their respective legal teams.
“They… are pleased to leave this chapter of their lives as firm friends.”
Giggs, 44, made a record 952 appearances for Manchester United and 64 for Wales. His major honours include 13 Premier League titles and two Champions League winner’s medals.
He worked as United’s interim manager for a short spell after ending his playing career.
